Zone - A zone is the level of the class. The technical needs of the class determine the zone. Consider Zone 1 as a beginning class.
Phase - A phase is the progression of the lesson plan within the zone. Each phase gives the teacher insight into the variations that can be used with the exercises given to advance the dancers with a clear understanding of the tasks presented to them.
Concepts - A concept is a skill based benchmark that should be learned at points during the dancers journey in order to be able to progress.
